ChromoTune is a chromatic tuner app built by Thorbjørn Bonvik. Your privacy matters. This policy explains what the app accesses and how it is handled.
ChromoTune uses your device's microphone to detect the pitch of nearby sound in real time. Audio is analyzed entirely on your device to estimate pitch — it is never recorded, saved, or transmitted anywhere.
Your selected theme and app settings are stored locally on your device. ChromoTune has no accounts and does not send this data to any server.
ChromoTune is free and displays ads served by Google AdMob. All ads are non-personalized — the app never uses App Tracking Transparency and does not ask for permission to track you. AdMob may still collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure non-personalized ads. You can learn more in Google's Privacy Policy.
Beyond what the ad provider collects to serve non-personalized ads, ChromoTune includes no additional analytics SDKs or tracking frameworks. No personal data is collected, shared, or sold to third parties by the developer.
